The Frenchman will not move until the end of the season at the earliest, as he has been handed a pivotal role by Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri.
After the exits of Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo and Carlos Tevez this summer, Juve see the French international as the leader of their new-look side, and have handed him the No.10 shirt.
However, that didn’t stop Chelsea from reportedly testing their resolve ahead of the transfer deadline, as Jose Mourinho wanted the midfield ace to bolster his squad.
They will likely be left disappointed though as Pogba has his heart set on a move to Barcelona and will only accept them if he decides to leave the Serie A champions.
The news will be another blow for Mourinho, who also saw his advances for Everton defender John Stones rejected this summer.
