Raiola laughs off interest in the Frenchman.
The agent of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has claimed that his client is worth “twice as much” as Real Madrid target Gareth Bale.
Mino Raiola is well known for his headline-grabbing comments, and he didn’t disappoint on Tuesday as he spoke about the Juve youngster’s future.
With speculation suggesting that Arsenal had been keen on signing the Frenchman this summer, Raiola was dismissive of any interest from outside of Turin.
The former Manchester United starlet is rapidly growing into a vital part of Antonio Conte’s squad, and having impressed at the Under-20 World Cup this summer he is expected to receive regular playing time this season.
“How much does Pogba cost? Certainly more than Bale,” Raiola told Sky Sport Italia as reported by Football Italia.
“If Bale is worth €120m, then Paul is worth at least twice as much. Pogba is a Salvador Dali painting, while Mario Balotelli is the Mona Lisa.”
While Real Madrid continue their pursuit of Bale, reports on Tuesday night suggested that an agreement was in place between the three parties with an official statement forthcoming.
However, Pogba is unlikely to be switching clubs in the next fortnight, as Raiola sees him staying in Turin for the foreseeable future.
Raiola also represents the likes Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and provided the media with an update on the big Swede’s future, as well as Milan’s M’Baye Niang.
While Ibrahimovic is “100 per cent” certain to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, Raiola believes it is unlikely that Niang will leave San Siro this summer despite reports to the contrary.
