Sporting Kansas City sit third in the Eastern Conference level on both points and goal difference with New York Red Bulls,
Though the league position looks strong, the side have lost four out of their last five games, the Brazilian is desperate to help his side out of the rut.
Speaking to MLS soccer.com Nagmura said: “We’ve been through a bad stretch in the league,I’m just looking to give a spark to the team and help us finish strong, and finish the last eight games that we have on top.”
Nagmura said he felt the Champions League tie was a good strengthener for him: “We know that this league is much more physical than the games that we have in CONCACAF.
