Barcelona star Pedro could be handed the legendary No.9 jersey at Man United if he completes his move to Old Trafford this month.
The 28-year-old is reportedly nearing a move to the Premier League, although contrasting reports suggest that the move is still in jeopardy.

While Pedro has denied asking Barcelona to allow him to leave, his lack of first-team opportunities this season could be a problem and that has in turn forced him to consider his options.
The Spanish international currently wears his preferred No.7 jersey at Barca, but that number is already taken at United by summer signing Memphis Depay.
As a result, according to the Daily Star, he could be handed the No.9 jersey which is now available after Radamel Falcao moved on after last season.
The list of players that have previously worn the No.9 shirt is an impressive one, but it remains to be seen if Pedro will be the latest to take it as doubts continue to surround his move.
It was also reported this week that Louis Van Gaal’s treatment of his compatriot David De Gea may well be putting him off a move to Manchester.
