Chelsea have confirmed that new signing Pedro will wear the No. 17 shirt for the Blues this season.
The same jersey had been handed to fellow new boy Baba Rahman earlier this week after the left-back arrived from Augsburg in a £21m deal.
But the Ghana international has been reassigned the No. 6 shirt in order for Pedro to have the number which he wore at Barcelona for four years.

A statement on the Chelsea website read: “Pedro will wear the Chelsea No.17 jersey and fellow new signing Baba Rahman will now wear his preferred No.6.”
The No. 6 shirt at Stamford Bridge has been vacated following Nathan Ake’s loan move to Watford.
Famous Chelsea No. 6s include Marcel Desailly, Ricardo Carvalho and Steve Clarke, while the likes of Nigel Spackman, Emmanuel Petit and Eden Hazard have previously sported No. 17.
