The Gunners’ major signing of the summer had a terrible debut in the Premier League on Sunday.
To say that Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech had a bad day would be the understatement of the weekend.
The Gunners were the only club this weekend to be shut out in a two-goal loss and fan reaction ranged from a #WengerOut movement on Twitter to accusing Cech of being a double-agent for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Cech took to Twitter himself to express disappointment in his debut performance for the Gunner.
First game like this was not in the script – Mistake and no points but tomorrow is another day to get ready for the next game ! #COYG

The Gunners were the only club this weekend to be shut out in a two-goal loss and fan reaction ranged from a #WengerOut movement on Twitter to accusing Cech of being a double-agent for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Cech holds the mark for the second most clean sheets in Premier League history, and holds the record for the most with a single club: Chelsea.
After a lengthy career with the Blues, Cech lost his starting job to Thibaut Courtois in 2014 and club management decided to sell the legendary stopper to Arsenal for a £10 million premium.
The loss gives Arsenal an early deficit in the 2015-16 Premier League table as Man United and Liverpool both finished the weekend with a win and three points while bitter rival Chelsea was shocked in a 2-2 tie to Swansea and went back to the locker room with one point.
