Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool
Along with Hazard the Reds forward is the only other player on this shortlist to also be nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award and therefore has to be considered an equal favourite to win it – along with the Belgian.
Sturridge is the oldest player nominated at 24-years-old, but with 20 goals in 26 league appearances can also be considered to be perhaps the most impressive.
The striker is a certainty to be at the World Cup in Brazil (if fit) and looks to just get better and better under Brendan Rodgers’ guidance.
Likeliness to win: 8/10.
