Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters and Washington Redskins defensive tackle Chris Baker were involved in a Week 3 scuffle as their teams faced each other in a shootout.
This was following a brutal hit by Baker on Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, which made the quarterback appear to be hurt. This caused his teammates to leap to his defense, and Peters smacked Baker across the head while the Redskins defensive tackle committed a facemask grab.
This caused the NFL to fine both Peters and Baker. Peters was fined $10,000 while Baker was fined $8,268. Here is a tweet from NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport confirming these fines.
