The Philadelphia Eagles will play their final preseason game against the New York Jets as they look to improve their 1-2 record while the Jets hope to build on their 2-1 record.
The Eagles have a crowded backfield even without LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles, who are the only guarantees to make the roster. Chris Polk, Henry Josey, Kenjon Barner and Henry Josey will all battle for a roster spot as well. Chip Kelly may decide to keep four running backs since there is such a logjam at the position.
Wide receiver Jordan Matthews will look to bounce back and solidify himself as a key weapon after having a forgettable performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He broke the 100 receiving yards barrier in his previous game, and Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper will receive little to no playing time.
For the Jets, quarterback Michael Vick will make the start as he reunites with his old team.
Tight end Jace Amaro looked much more comfortable as he caught all four passes thrown to him for 37 yards and a touchdown. He had struggled mightily in training camp and the early part of preseason.
