The entire town of Macksville has been invited to attend the funeral of Phillip Hughes at which Test captain Michael Clarke will be one of the pallbearers.
Around 5,000 people are expected to attend Macksville High School for the service, with Cricket Australia expecting between 300 and 400 dignitaries.
These include the current Australian Test squad, as well as past greats such as Shane Warne, Steve Waugh, Adam Gilchrist and Ricky Ponting, plus India’s stand-in captain Virat Kohli and coach Duncan Fletcher.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten and New South Wales Premier Mike Baird will also be in attend.
Michael Clarke will provide a tribute during the service and will join cricketers Aaron Finch, Tom Cooper and Hughes’ family and friends as pallbearers.
The funeral will begin at 2pm (AEDT)
