A fitting tribute has been conducted on social media after the death of the cricketer.
The death of Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes on Thursday has shocked the sporting world and there has been an outpouring of tributes to the 25-year-old.

Hughes died after being hit with the ball during a Sheffield Shield match on Tuesday and after being put into an induced coma the batsman died two days later because of his injuries.
In a fitting tribute Twitter has started the #putoutyourbats hash-tag, which was initiated by Sydney man Paul Taylor and has since been recreated by some of the biggest names in cricket and beyond.
