Amir Khan is in the headlines again after he posed with his ‘goal for 2015’ as he continues to pursue a fight with Floyd Mayweather.
The 28-year-old has made no secret of his desire to face the unbeaten American, and he added further strength to his case with an impressive win over Devon Alexander in December.
However, Mayweather continues to suggest that he is not interested in a fight with the Briton as he now looks ahead to potentially securing a date with long-time rival Manny Pacquiao.
Khan believes he deserves to be in the mix for a fight with ‘Money’ who has two fights remaining on his current Showtime contract, and he continued his pursuit with his ‘goal of 2015’ which is to beat the welterweight king.

Nevertheless, it will arguably matter little what Khan says or does over the coming months as Mayweather has dictated his own path for years and it is well acknowledged that Khan’s speed could prove to be a real problem for him.
As a result, the majority of British boxing fans will relish the prospect of another huge night at Wembley this summer with IBF champion Kell Brook hopeful of facing his domestic rival.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has pushed for the fight for some time, but Khan recently responded to claims that he had already spoken to Wembley about a possible date as “disrespectful” and “desperate”.
