Louis van Gaal has been criticised for his treatment of Spanish goalkeeper Victor Valdes – and maybe that criticism is fair!
The former Barcelona stopper seems to have no future at Old Trafford as a consequence of his spat with LVG, who has banished him to train with the reserves.
Van Gaal has also stripped Valdes of his squad number.
However, a photo taken during Saturday’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur suggests that he may have taken the feud too far.
It appears as though Valdes is not only unworthy of a number, he is also not even fit enough to wear a club tie or blazer…
