Arsenal called in the big guns to try and persuade John Terry to move – shockingly, Piers Morgan failed.
Piers Morgan can be a real pain in the Arsenal sometimes, but Gooners everywhere would probably erect a statue in his honor if could convince John Terry to move to Emirates Stadium.
According to the Metro, the former CNN loudmouth admitted that he has been making his best effort to persuade the Chelsea captain to leave Stamford Bridge and join his friend Petr Cech with Arsenal.
A minority shareholder in Arsenal, Morgan revealed on Twitter that he tried convincing the Chelsea legend that his manager Jose Mourinho doesn’t care about him anymore, but noted that he was unsuccessful.
Spent 20 minutes trying to persuade John Terry to join Arsenal last night, using the ‘Jose don’t love you any more’ line. I failed.

John Terry has had a very difficult start to the season, suffering through a frustrating draw against Swansea City, then being subbed in a blowout loss to Man City and most recently suffering a red card against West Bromwich Albion.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have struggled on offense and defense to start the season, getting shut out twice and scoring just 2 goals through the first three games. If not for one of the best saves of the season by goalkeeper Petr Cech, the Gooners likely would’ve lost their second match of the season in what was a draw against Liverpool.
Morgan has been criticized numerous times in the past for using his social media presence to stir up trouble for players and coaches, calling for the dismissal of longtime manager Arsene Wenger as well as taunting players and fans alike.
