The Steelers have signed retired LB James Harrison to a contract with the team following the loss of several LBs to injury during the Sunday night win over the Carolina Panthers.
Harrison is considered one of the NFL’s meanest players of all-time, winning Defensive Player of the Year for the Steelers in 2008 and making 5 Pro Bowls. His 100-yard INT-TD of Kurt Warner in Superbowl XLIII is considered one of the greatest plays in Superbowl history. He also earned a reputation in the last few years for head-hunting – accumulating over $100,000 in fines in his last few years with the Steelers.
