Pittsburgh Steelers running back Dri Archer wowed football fans with his speed on a dump-off pass play in the preseason opener against the New York Giants.
The Pittsburgh Steelers opened their preseason against the New York Giants. They lost 20-16, but the point of preseason is to see what their backups can do.
The Steelers discovered that they have an electric weapon in running back Dri Archer. Archer ran a 4.26 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, and he continued to show his explosiveness in the preseason game with a 46-yard catch.
Archer had caught a dump-off pass from Ben Roethlisberger, but he extended the play by eluding tacklers.
Here is a link to the video of Archer extending the play from the NFL’s official Twitter account.
The exact opposite of “feet stuck in quicksand”? That would be @Dri_Archer1. ZOOM: http://t.co/N7VQSR2NfL #PITvsNYG
