Serie A midfielder spends a few days in London to discuss potential Arsenal transfer, but Fiorentina continue to monitor situation closely.
Arsenal and Fiorentina are considering signing Hellas Verona midfielder Jorginho after being impressed by the Brazilian’s early season form for the newly promoted Serie A side.
Yet to be called up by Brazil – or Italy, for whom he also holds a passport – the 21 year-old took advantage of the international break to visit London, where he has been for the last few days.
Italian publication Tutto Mercato claim that Jorginho held informal talks with Arsenal over a transfer, as his stock continues to grow in Verona.
Hellas Verona do not have a huge amount of money, with Jorginho perhaps their only valuable asset to sell, and they are already cashing in, with many rumours over the summer linking him to Liverpool.
Former sporting director and chief scout Tor Kristian-Karlsen had this to say on the potential move:

Jorginho: neat Brazilian (Italian pp) midfielder, ideal for midfield of three. Agile, technically sound, fine vision, gets into att pos 2/2

No idea as regards alleged interest from Liverpool in Jorginho. Arsenal link seems to gain momentum though
