CM: Aaron Ramsey
Both Mathieu Flamini and Francis Coquelin featured prominently against the Singapore XI and captain Mikel Arteta is sidelined again by injury, leaving Arsenal without a fresh defensive midfielder.
Should Wenger not want to start Coquelin twice in four days at this early stage of pre-season, Ramsey is likely to be asked to protect the back four.
CM: Santi Cazorla
Cazorla thrived in a deeper role last season and may have found a permanent home their now, with the Gunners inundated with attacking midfield talent. Pre-season will be a good indication of how Wenger will choose to utilise the Spaniard come the real thing.
CAM: Mesut Ozil
The German playmaker finally started to show glimpses of his best form when he was used in a No. 10 role at the end of last season. He must be allowed to stay there in 2015-16, although he may be needed out wide with Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck missing from the tour.
