GK David de Gea – Manchester United
Who’s interested: Real Madrid
The United stopper has been linked with a return to his homeland all season, and according to his potential predecessor, Iker Casillas, the deal has already been agreed.
RB: Dani Alves – Barcelona
Who’s interested: PSG, Manchester United
The veteran Brazilian has been winding down his contract at the Nou Camp and is finally ready to open a new chapter in his career. PSG had been favourites to land his signature, but he has since closed the foot on a move to France, leaving Manchester United as the favourites to snap him up.
CB: Nicolas Otamendi – Valencia
Who’s interested: Manchester United
United are desperately seeking new defensive reinforcements after injury and loss of form his their back line hard. Otamendi has been targeted, but Valencia are playing hardball over his fee.
CB: Raphael Varane – Real Madrid
Who’s interested: Chelsea
Blues boss Jose Mourinho worked with the young Frenchman during his time in charge of Real Madrid, and he is desperate to work with him again. His chances have been further boosted by the news that Varane is said to be considering his future.
LB: Filipe Luis – Chelsea
Who’s Interested: Atletico Madrid, Inter Madrid
The Brazilian looked to be a real coup at the start of the season, but has so far been unable to break into the Chelsea squad ahead of Cesar Azpilicueta. He’s now being strongly mooted to return to his former stomping ground, though Inter Milan might have something to say about that.
