Exec. Bill Polian (Contributor Finalist) – Polian was one of the architects behind the Buffalo Bills powerhouse in the late-80s and early 1990s, where they became the first and only team in NFL history to go to four straight Super Bowls – losing all four of them unfortunately. He became the Indianapolis Colts GM in 1997 and had the privilege of drafting Peyton Manning in 1998 – setting up a Colts powerhouse that would win Super Bowl XLI and appear in Super Bowl XLIV.
C Mick Tingelhoff (Senior Finalist) – A 17-year starter for the Minnesota Vikings, Tingelhoff was the key offensive starter that helped the young Vikings franchise become a powerhouse and go to four Super Bowls in 1969, ’73, ’74 and ’76. He blocked for the likes of Fran Tarkenton and Joe Kapp as they reached the heights of success in the NFL and most importantly: Tingelhoff never missed a game. His 240 consecutive starts is one of the longest streaks in NFL history, and his 240 starts are 12th in NFL history.
Exec. Ron Wolf (Contributor Finalist) – An NFL executive for nearly 50 years, Wolf helped establish the fledgling Oakland Raiders in 1963 as a scout by helping the team draft such legends as Art Shell, Gene Upshaw, Jack Tatum and Ken Stabler for their first Super Bowl teams, and later helped draft Hall of Famers Howie Long and Marcus Allen for their other ones. He became the Green Bay Packers GM in 1991 and later made the move to hire Mike Holmgren as head coach and acquire Brett Favre from the Atlanta Falcons, who would in turn lead the Packers to a Super Bowl win Super Bowl XXXI.
