2. Mark Schwarzer (Middlesbrough, Fulham, Chelsea, Leicester City – 1996–present)
By some distance the Aussie with the most Premier League appearances, Schwarzer is one of only 12 players of any nationality to have reached the 500 mark and is still a strong and dependable figure in between the posts for Leicester approaching his 43rd birthday.
1. Tim Cahill (Everton – 2004–12)
Arguably Australia’s best export to the Premier League, Cahill was an all-action midfielder with an unparalleled spring and an eye for goal. He scored 56 in 226 games for Everton to leave his legacy on Goodison Park and indeed the English game.
