It can be argued that Lamela has not been given enough chances for Spurs this term, but for £30m, Tottenham fans were right to expect a hell of a lot more. The 21-year-old has only been given two Premier League starts, where he’s performed pretty poorly, and it’s increasingly looking like Lamela may become the most expensive flop of the season.
