Everton will benefit from not having Thursday-night football to contend with this term, but face losing several of their best players in the remainder of the transfer window and that could hit them hard.
10. Newcastle United
Steve McClaren has been backed in the transfer market, and will hope that the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum and Aleksandar Mitrovic will make a miserable 2014-15 season a distant memory.
9. Swansea City
Only a loss to Tottenham Hotspur cost them a Europa League spot last year. Though they aren’t quite ready to make the jump into the Premier League’s elite, the Swans will still be a top-half team this term.
