Following QPR’s 3-1 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park, the Daily Mail showed just how poor the form of Harry Redknapp’s side has been with the construction of a league table showing the Premier League away form this season.
Here are the results with the team with the best away form shown first:
Manchester City – 20 points
Six wins and two draws with just one defeat away from the Etihad Stadium means City have the best form.
Their recently brilliant results include three away on the bounce and have seen them hurl themselves back into Premier League title contention.
Chelsea – 15 points
The Blues’ runaway train of a title charge suffered a slight derail at the hands of Newcastle United when they lost 2-1 at St. James’ Park, but Jose Mourinho will hardly care as the Blues have already visited tougher away grounds than their title rivals and come out relatively unscathed.
Tottenham Hotspur – 14 points
Spurs away has been the source of their success this season with their home form the reason they’re just seventh in the league.
West Ham United – 12 points
West Ham’s draw at Sunderland on the weekend might have clipped their wings but three away wins and three draws away from London show how consistent the Hammers have been.
Arsenal – 11 points
The Gunners have had some good away performances against some resilient opponents but have seen some poor and unexpected results hamper their league position.
