Wales winger was the top flight’s stand-out performer last season.
A plethora of Premier League clubs are all lining up to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfield player Gareth Bale when the transfer window opens this summer, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The Wales international has just enjoyed a sensational season for the high-flying north London club, culminating in the 23-year-old finishing the campaign by being crowned the double Footballer of the Year.
The winger managed to hit the back of the net on 21 occasions in only 33 Premier League outings for Andre Villas-Boas’s side last season, while overall Bale netted 26 goals in just 44 outings for Tottenham.
However, despite the wide man’s eye-catching form in front of goal at White Hart Lane in the previous campaign, Tottenham still failed to finish in the top four of the Premier League, and so will not be competing in the Uefa Champions League next season.
And now the likes of top-flight champions Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all reportedly lining up to tempt the player with a big-money summer move away from the capital.
