Steve Bruce, Hull City
It’s a similar story for Bruce at the KC Stadium and of the three teams promoted from the Championship the former Red Devils captain is the only one to have been in charge all campaign.
Like Palace and Cardiff City the Tigers were expected to struggle in the top flight and although things haven’t exactly been easy, Hull’s safety looks confirmed as well.
Strong victories against Cardiff, Fulham and Liverpool have been particularly impressive and they have rarely looked out of their depth.
Another bonus of course has been the Yorkshire side’s FA Cup run, with victory over Sheffield United on Sunday taking them to their first ever cup final and therefore a European spot next year.
Bruce also has to be congratulated for some good work in the transfer market, with the acquisition of captain Curtis Davies and Tom Huddlestone having been particularly impressive.
