Jose Mourinho, Chelsea
Perhaps the most exciting development last summer for most neutrals and certainly for Blues supporters was that Mourinho would be returning to Stamford Bridge after a six-year absence.
The Portuguese coach has been feeding the media his usual bravado and riddles all term, with dubbing himself the ‘Happy One’ and likening his team to ‘Little Horses’ the standouts.
Whilst it hasn’t been the whirlwind of success in west London that many expected, Mourinho’s side have been solid once again and could win the title still and are through to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Nemanja Matic looks to be a fine signing and the £37.1m sale of Juan Mata to United – as unpopular as it would have been at the start of the season – looks to be a fine piece of business.
The 51-year-old has also brought defensive stability back to the club, with John Terry, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back, particularly strong points.
