Leicester City and QPR interested in Lewis Holtby.
Newly promoted Premier League sides Leicester City and QPR are after the services of 23-year old Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The German international spent a part of last season on loan at relegated side Fulham, and could be loaned out again as his future is uncertain under new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
It does not seem like Holtby will feature regularly in the Argentine’s plans though as Pochettino is looking to freshen up his squad with new faces that possibly have no baggage of failure at White Hart Lane.
Leicester and QPR feel they could benefit from the young midfielder, who was once seen as a bright prospect at Schalke 04 before he was offloaded for a low price to Andre-Villas Boas’ Tottenham.
It will be interesting to see if the German himself would want another loan spell in the Premier League, while there could still be interest in his services in Germany, where he was a more proven commodity.
