Who played the best in what was something of a shock result at White Hart Lane.
After beating Chelsea last weekend, Newcastle United continued their great Premier League run with a triumph over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
It was a surprise result and something that will be troubling to Andre Villas-Boas, so here are the best and worst performers from the clash in north London.
The worst…
Michael Dawson
This was not a captain’s performance from the Spurs skipper, who was made to look slow and sluggish by the energetic Loic Remy.
Twice the centre-back was caught out by the Frenchman, with the second chance leading to the only goal of the game.
With Younes Kaboul waiting in the wings it may be about time Dawson is dropped from Villas-Boas’ side.
