Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Stoke City
Stoke did the double over Spurs last season, so they should not be written off, especially considering the impressive signings Mark Hughes has made this summer, including Xherdan Shaqiri, who is expected to make his Potters debut at White Hart Lane. However, Spurs looked fit and hungry in last weekend’s 1-0 loss at Manchester United. I fancy Harry Kane and co to turn on the style on Saturday.
Watford 4-1 West Bromwich Albion
The Baggies were awful in Monday’s 3-0 loss to Manchester City, while Watford proved in their 2-2 draw at Everton that they will go ‘attack, attack, attack’ following their promotion. The Hornets won by some pretty big scorelines in the Championship last season, including a 7-2 and a 5-0 against Blackpool and Charlton respectively, and I think they could well put Tony Pulis’s team to the sword.
