There is now a feeling that Manchester City are waiting for the end of the season, so they can finally end their relationship with Manuel Pellegrini. If the Chilean was to be sacked before then, it probably would have happened after the Manchester derby. But the City hierarchy’s resolve will be tested with another embarrassing defeat to the horribly out of form West Ham.
