The Magpies have been in truly poor form since John Carver took over, and have been slipping closer and closer to the relegation zone.
Tottenham have struggled for goals recently, but should find the back of the net against Newcastle.
Fanatix Says: Newcastle 1-0 Tottenham
Newcastle – and John Carver especially – definitely have a point to prove. They were not terrible against Liverpool, but certainly deserved nothing out of the game. The derby defeat to Sunderland has seemingly all but ended Carver’s hopes of keeping the manager’s job full-time. But they are due a performance, and that may come against Spurs.
