Stats show Spurs’ Adebayor to be extremely clinical in the penalty box, while Liverpool forward Suarez’s success stems from constant shots on goal…
We’ve compiled some key forward statistics from the main strikers at the big six clubs, to analyse where the players can improve, and where they’ve done well this term.
Goals scored, total shots, shots per game and shooting accuracy are all given for the two main strikers at each side.

Liverpool:
Luis Suarez: Goals: 23, Total shots: 123, Shots per game: 5.6, Accuracy: 55%
Daniel Sturridge: Goals: 18, Total shots: 67, Shots per game: 3.5, Accuracy: 55%
Luis Suarez is the league’s top scorer because he has been willing to shoot on sight all season. His accuracy is average, but his shots per game way outweigh any other player.
His partner Sturridge is far more clinical in front of goal. He’s bagged just five less goals, but taken nearly 60 less shots than his partner.
