Chelsea’s forwards simply don’t shoot on goal enough. Neither of them take more than 3 shots per game on goal, despite the fact their shooting is relatively accurate compared to their rivals. Between them, they’ve only scored 10 goals, less than all the other big club’s forwards. (Although to be fair, they are very rarely deployed in tandem, unlike Suarez/Sturridge, Rooney/Van Persie & Negredo/Aguero.)
