Attack: Ezequiel Lavezzi, Alexis Sanchez, Xherdan Shaqiri, Diego Costa
Some of the best attacking players in the game could now be making their way to the Premier League this summer, and they form an exciting looking front four in this XI.
On the right, Paris Saint-Germain winger Ezequiel Lavezzi seems likely to be allowed to leave France this summer and is wanted by Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, though his future will likely be resolved after he finishes World Cup duty with Argentina.
Another player who has caught the eye at the World Cup takes his place on the left-hand side of this attacking three, with Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri widely believed to be a £15m target for Liverpool after struggling to command a regular place in the Bayern Munich starting lineup in the last couple of seasons.
Just behind the main striker is Barcelona and Chile star Alexis Sanchez, who has enjoyed a superb campaign in La Liga but who could be available for a bargain £25m this summer. This has unsurprisingly alerted a host of top clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United to his potential availability, so it would be no surprise to see him lighting up the Premier League next season for one of those clubs.
Spearheading the attack is Chelsea target Diego Costa, whose £32m move from Atletico Madrid to Stamford Bridge is already reported to be as good as done. The bulky Spanish international did not enjoy the best of times with his country at this summer’s World Cup, but will likely be among the best strikers in the Premier League next season if his displays for Atletico in their title-winning campaign are anything to go by.
