The Gunners made just one major signing, bringing in Chelsea’s second-choice goalkeeper for £10m.
In fairness, Petr Cech is a superb addition, but Arsenal were crying out for a striker and a defensive midfielder.
Arsene Wenger is an excellent manger, but his stubbornness in the transfer market will prevent his side making a serious title bid this season.
