Liverpool look set to be left disappointed this summer as PSG ace Lucas Digne is reportedly close to securing a move to Roma.
The left-back was not included in the season opener against Lille on Friday night, sparking further speculation that he isn’t part of Laurent Blanc’s plans.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Anfield this summer, but it appears as though the Giallorossi have stolen a march on them and are favourites to land his signature.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the French champions are open to allowing him to leave on an initial loan deal with an option to buy, which won’t be mandatory.
It is reported that the deal would cost €1.5m for the season-long loan with an option to buy for a further €18m.
While it is unclear as to whether or not Roma are open to investing those kind of fees in the youngster, they do hold the advantage of the fact that coach Rudi Garcia has previously worked with Digne during their time at Lille.
