Getting the excuses in early, eh?

PSG play the Blues next week in the Parc des Princes but Jose Mourinho’s side will have the benefit of a full week’s rest whilst the French champions must play against Caen on Saturday.
“Jose Mourinho is a genius, he lost his FA Cup match 4-2 (against Bradford) and was given a week to prepare for his match against us in the Champions League,” the French coach told Le10 Sport.
The unexpected time off for Mourinho’s men comes due to their lack of FA Cup tie this weekend following on from their incredible collapse against Bradford City in the 4th round.
The west Londoners conceded four goals in the second half against the League One side and were knocked out of the competition despite being two-nil up at the break at Stamford Bridge.
Whilst Jose has been known to live on the edge in terms of tactics to benefit his team – just see him instructing Sergio Ramos and Iker Casillas to pick up yellow cards when at Real Madrid – but this might be even too far for him.
