United forward is said to be interesting French giants.
Mega rich Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain could be set for an end of season swoop for Manchester United front man Wayne Rooney after it emerged that their giant striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is pondering leaving the Parc des Princes this summer, reports the Daily Mirror.
The Sweden international only arrived in the French capital from Serie A giants AC Milan at the beginning of this campaign, but the player is said to already be considering his future with the Parisian outfit having been sent off on three occasions this campaign.
And, were the 31-year-old to depart the club for what would be an incredible eighth new employer, then PSG will look to tempt England international Rooney across the Channel with a £35 million offer for the forward.
United head coach Sir Alex Ferguson recently left the 27-year-old out of his starting line-up for the club’s massive Champions League decider with Real Madrid at Old Trafford and so could be tempted to cash in on the attacker.
With Rooney having lived his whole life in the north west of England though, it is not known whether he would consider a move abroad.
