The young Frenchman earned plenty of plaudits for performances for the Gunners last term and Daily Star reports that PSG boss Laurent Blanc has made the 24-year-old a key transfer target during the summer window.
There’s no doubt that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will be doing all he can to hold onto the defensive midfielder, but PSG’s incredible financial backing may make it difficult.
Coquelin’s emergence this season has resulted in Arsenal cooling its interest in Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin, giving the Gunners more reason to attempt to ward off PSG’s advances.
It will be interesting to see just how Coquelin is used by Wenger next season, with fit-again Mikel Arteta expected to return to the side.
Coquelin made 29 appearances for Arsenal last term and was largely credited for helping the Gunners win the FA Cup and qualify for the Champions League.
