Ligue 1 giants eyeing Juan Mata move.
PSG are ready to launch a €41m bid for Chelsea star Juan Mata, according to Goal.com.
The Blues are reportedly willing to allow the Spaniard to join an overseas club and Mata is ready to quit Stamford Bridge in a bid for regular first team football.
The 26-year-old, named Chelsea’s player of the year for the previous two campaigns, is fearful of his place in Spain’s World Cup squad after being marginalised by Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
Mata was again left out for Sunday’s key match against Man City but returned to the team for the League Cup win over Arsenal.
The former Valencia player was also left out of the XI for the matches against Tottenham and Manchester United, both of whom would like to sign the player.
But Chelsea are not thought to be willing to do business with a Premier League rival, leading Mata’s father, who also acts as his agent, to sound out overseas clubs about a possible move this winter.
PSG are the early front-runners for the playmaker, who is not understood to be of interest to either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
