Injuries and lack of form made life difficult for the Argentinian, and his compatriot has now revealed that they have spoken about what life is like in Paris.
“I told him to join us,” Pastore said, according to Le Parisien, as reported by Sky Sports.
“He also asked me many questions about the club, the city and the way of life for his family.
“He wants to come. He is a very great player. Plus, he alone can win important matches.”
United boss Louis Van Gaal has conceded that he has been left disappointed by Di Maria’s approach and feels as though he has disrespected the club by not joining the squad on their pre-season tour.
As a result, he is reportedly set to make life difficult for him by insisting that PSG pay the fee upfront which could in turn delay the move from happening for weeks.
