Chelsea will have to brace themselves for a huge bid from PSG, and possibly Monaco and Barcelona as well, for Brazilian superstar Oscar, reveals the Sunday Telegraph.
The 22-year-old is rated as one of the most talented young attackers in world football, and already starts for his country in the pivotal ‘no.10’ role, behind a central striker.
Oscar arrived from Internacional back in 2012 for a large £25m transfer fee, so if any of the European giants were serious about doing business with the Blues, they’d have to bid at least £40m for a deal to be even be considered.
Jose Mourinho rates Oscar very highly, and he has trusted him as one of Chelsea’s central attacking midfielders all term, with Eden Hazard and Willian usually flanking him from either wing. In fact, Oscar’s form was arguably the main reason the Portuguese boss sold Juan Mata to Manchester United, so it will truly tale a monumental offer for Chelsea to sit down at the negotiating table.
This term, Oscar’s struck nine goals in 37 appearances in all competitions, and will be a key figure in Chelsea’s title run in and Champions League push.
