PSV Eindhoven forward Memphis Depay has suggested that he could sign for Manchester United in 2015 providing they qualify for the Champions League, the Metro reports.

The Old Trafford club missed out on qualification for Europe’s premier club competition for the first time since 1995-96, but their absence didn’t harm their summer recruitment as they brought in the likes of Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao as part of a huge spending spree.
United are desperate to return to the competition at the end of the season, as it could prove vital in his ambitions of signing his long time target.
The 20-year-old has stated that he wants to be playing Champions League football next term before dropping a cryptic clue as to where that could be.
“Maybe I will play in the Champions League next season with PSV, maybe it will be with another great club,” he said.
However, he did stop short of outlining a plan for his future.
“I do not plan,” he added.
“I just want to make steps in my career.”
