Sociedad’s Griezmann is being touted by some of the Premier League’s biggest sides.
After admitting Arsenal are watching Real Sociedad’s Antoine Griezmann, Arsene Wenger now faces competition from Manchester United for the Frenchman.
Wenger confirmed that the Gunners are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old after Griezmann has had a brilliant season in La Liga to date.
“Yes, we follow him in great detail,” the 64-year-old told French football programme Telefoot, as quoted by the Metro.
“He attracts other clubs as well. But we follow him, he is a known commodity.”
It was thought the north London side would make a move for the Sociedad star in the January transfer window, although that never materialised and it now seems that if Wenger wants the forward in the summer an offer of around £25m will be needed.

However, the Red Devils have now become involved in the pursuit as United scout David Friio admits to being a huge admirer of Griezmann.
“Griezmann would bring something [to France’s World Cup team],” Friio was quoted by the Mirror.
“His versatility and technique, in a tournament where space is limited, are real assets. You can’t score 15 goals in a great league without having real qualities.”
Griezmann has risen to prominence in Spain after progressing from the Sociedad youth academy in 2009 and having played 191 times for the club since.
However, it is the current campaign where the France Under-21 international has truly shown his attacking talent, scoring 15 league goals in 24 league matches, despite operating from the left wing.
It’s this form that has attracted interest from England, with United getting a first hand look of Griezmann when they played against the Frenchman twice during the Champions League group stage.
Manager David Moyes is looking to overhaul the squad at Old Trafford in the summer after a disappointing first term in charge after succeeding legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
This could see the departure of Luis Nani, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young and Griezmann could therefore be the perfect replacement.
There could also be competition from Chelsea though, as reports in the Mirror from January also linked the west Londoners with the winger.
