Austin Davis will no longer be the St. Louis Rams starting QB, instead Shaun Hill will be the starter for the foreseeable future.
According to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Hill will start Sunday’s game against the Broncos. This decision comes from Rams head coach Jeff Fisher after he reportedly indicated that Davis would remain the starter despite his poor performance against the Arizona Cardinals this past week.
Hill was the Rams starter for the start of the season after QB Sam Bradford suffered a season-ending knee injury in the preseason. But Hill suffered a Week One injury, so Fisher gave the job to Davis.
As a starter, Davis went 3-5 for the Rams and led the team to two incredible upsets over the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers.
