Redknapp wants to bring former charge to Loftus Road.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker to lead the relegated Hoops back to the Premier League next season, reports the Daily Mirror.
Parker, 32, was one of Redknapp’s best signings at Spurs after he arrived from West Ham in summer 2011 but it is understood his successor at White Hart Lane, Andre Villas-Boas, may be tempted to cash-in on the England international.
Parker has been a near ever present for Spurs in 2013 but he did not start a Premier League game before Brazilian Sandro tore his cruciate ligament in January.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle midfielder has endured injury problems of his own this year and has struggled to hit the heights of last season.
While Parker could collect a big final pay-day by moving to Loftus Road, the drop down to the Championship would spell the end of his England ambitions ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Spurs have been linked with summer moves for Wigan’s James McCarthy and Joao Moutinho of Porto.
