West London club feel they can persuade England star to drop down a division.
Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers remain hopeful of being able to persuade veteran Tottenham Hotspur midfield player Scott Parker to move to Loftus Road this summer, says the Guardian.
The some-time England international has been told by Tottenham head coach Andre Villas-Boas that he is now surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane following the £17 million capture of Corinthians midfield player Paulinho.
The 32-year-old has been in north London for only the past two campaigns now, having originally been brought to the club by the now QPR manager Harry Redknapp, who signed Parker from West Ham United for £5.5m in Aug 2011.
And in the intervening two-year period, the holding midfield player has featured in 62 matches in all competitions for the club, including 49 in the Premier League, but with now just two years left on his current contract in the capital, Parker is available for as little as £2m.
