The 28-year-old former Gold Coast Suns player was arrested on Thursday night on four counts of supplying the drug, according to Channel Nine.
The Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission released a statement on Friday morning that a 28-year-old man from Hendra faced for counts of supplying a dangerous drug.
Code-hopper hunt joined the Queensland Reds in 2015 after a five-year stint with AFL club Gold Coast Suns.
Hunt began his professional sporting career in the NRL with the Brisbane Broncos, where he spent six years and won the 2006 premiership.
