The on loan star has struggled for form and fitness so far this season, scoring just one goal in five appearances for his new club. He will have to wait to redeem himself however following this latest injury news.
“What I understand is that he has a sore calf, a little pull,” his father said.
“It’s for two or three weeks, and I think he will be ready for next week, if you listen to the club doctor.
“His discomfort is muscular. He is training alone doing recovery and will have to wait.”
Falcao was absent for his side’s narrow win against Crystal Palace on Saturday, and will more than likely miss United’s vital clash with Arsenal in the next round of Premier League fixtures.
There was a lot of buzz surrounding the capture of Falcao on deadline day this summer, so United fans will be hoping to get some sort of return from the former Atletico Madrid forward.
